Dr. Tristen Collins
Dr. Tristen Collins is dedicated to bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance. Her mission is to reshape perceptions of chiropractic care by offering individualized, world-class care. In a healthcare system where many patients feel unheard or lost, Tristen wishes to give each patient a platform to be understood and serve as a guide to get patients back to their goals by focusing on the root cause of their issues, not just treating their symptoms.
Self-development is a key component of her personal motivation, including specifically focusing on seminars and certifications, such as Webster Technique, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), McKenzie Technique (MDT), dry needling, Neurodynamics, and Rocktape.
A Texas native, she earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Oklahoma. During her college years, she discovered CrossFit, which sparked her passion for being an advocate for movement, ultimately receiving her CrossFit Level 2 Trainer Certification.
She is a graduate of Parker University where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master’s of Strength and Human Performance. While in chiropractic school, she served as the President of Parker’s Rehab2Performance and Vice President for the National Student Executive Board as well as being selected for the Outstanding Student Leader Award out of her graduating class.
With a background in competing in CrossFit and half marathons across the U.S. and Canada, Tristen embodies her philosophy of “practice what you preach.” She is an advocate for movement for her wide variety of patients with her passion being service athletes as well as prenatal and postpartum populations.
Outside of the clinic, Tristen enjoys going to famers markets, attending stand-up comedy shows, and finding the best pumpkin spiced latte in Nashville.
